Iron Age Hill Fort at Old Sarum

This Iron Age Hill Fort has played an important part in England's history. It has links to the Doomsday Book, a Norman Castle, and Salisbury Cathedral. It was politically significant in the 1800s as it was a “Rotten Borough”. From the ramparts there are fabulous views towards Salisbury and surrounding area.
